In addition, she researched and helped to write a paper for the Nature Conservancy on soil carbon and blue carbon finance projects with the international policy director of Silvestrum Climate Associates.

In her spare time, India has volunteered for environmental law firms and dived Belize's Bacalar Chico coral reef to aid marine biologists with fish population surveys. In addition, she enjoys art museums, long-distance ocean swimming, plant-based living, and researching cutting-edge sustainability startups and financial innovations. India is a world traveler and has relished nature and culture in North and Central America, the Caribbean, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
