Rallying your community around a collective future

Greg will talk about how his model of community-based collective action can be transported to other regions. He will discuss a current project,  The Grand Farm Education and Research Initiative, powered by Emerging Prairie, which capitalizes on the region’s potential and expertise in the agriculture and technology industries. They are accelerating the research and innovation by creating the prototype for the first fully autonomous farm, impacting North Dakota, the United States, and the World by solving challenges in the agriculture industry and developing new opportunities.

Thought leader, storyteller, and advocate for the creative class, Greg Tehven, invites audiences to build the community they want to live in. He believes you can overcome any obstacle by thinking creatively and acting boldly. Greg is proud to be from Fargo, North Dakota. After traveling around the world and taking in other places and ways of life, he returned home ready to stop observing and start taking action to change what the world thinks when they hear Fargo. As a leader in the startup community, Greg has been involved in many projects and events, including TEDxFargo, 1 Million Cups, Startup Weekend, and Emerging Prairie. He often speaks about creative economic development, spotlighting the best our cities have to offer and innovative problem-solving.
